Seismic Compliance

Trane has met the requirements for IBC seismic compliance on many of its product lines. As such, Trane has attained IBC certificates of compliance from its third-party testing partner on complete applied product lines. Trane self-certified select unitary product lines based on testing at independent third party laboratories.

Simplifying IBC Seismic Compliance

Trane has seismic certificates of compliance in accordance with the International Building Code (IBC) on most of its commercial products, including: Applied & Unitary systems:

• T-Series Climate Changer™ air handlers

Simplifying OSHPD Seismic Compliance

While performing testing for the applied products listed above, Trane and its third party testing partner adhered to the seismic requirements of the OSHPD as stated in the Code Application Notice 2-1708A.5.
