The Impact of Cleaner
Air on Heart Health

Fine particles in the air increase the risk of serious illness.

EPA states that exposure to fine particles impairs breathing and increases the risk of stroke, heart attack, and other serious illnesses. Recent studies have shown that lower exposure to fine particles reduces the risk of serious respiratory and cardiovascular events and lengthens the average lifespan.1

In studies conducted by researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health, in collaboration with scientists at Environmental Health & Engineering Inc., (EH&E), Trane CleanEffects™ performed the best at removing fine particles from indoor air; therefore helping to protect you from allergy and asthma triggers, the common flu virus and possibly cardiovascular issues such as stroke and heart attack.1

Cardio Fact Sheet

Reduce your exposure to fine particles.

Environmental Health & Engineering, Inc., (EH&E), evaluated the performance of Trane CleanEffects whole-house air filtration system through comparison to industry standards, the performance of alternative systems, and health-based considerations. The testing was conducted as a joint research project between scientists at EH&E and from the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH). Trane CleanEffects was the most effective at removing ultra fine particles and had the highest clean air delivery rate.
