Our Story
Keeping families comfortable has never meant more. Much like the unstoppable, relentless commitment of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® in treating and defeating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, Trane has been known for more than 100 years of unstoppable, relentless commitment to providing home comfort with its heating and cooling products. This is why Trane is proud to sponsor the St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway and St. Jude Walk/Run.
Trane believes in the life-saving mission of St. Jude to advance cures for pediatric cancer through research and treatment. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - so they can focus on helping their child live. Each year, Trane donates heating and cooling systems to approximately 45 custom built homes across the country. Additionally, each year Trane employees and distributors coast to coast show our support through fundraising and participation in the St. Jude Walk/Run.

Avid St. Jude supporter, Stephanie Kee, who is team captain of Charlotte DSO team, walks because she “believes in the mission of St. Jude to advance cures for pediatric cancer through her research and treatment.”
She describes her experience at the Walk/Run as a “big family event” and that everything is “all about the kids.”
Munch's Supply has been the top Trane fundraising team for the St. Jude Walk/Run for the past two years, raising $100,664 in 2023. Rebecca Ciastko, team captain, has a goal for fundraising each year of “how we can be more creative, generate more buzz, and provide a great experience for everyone involved.” Munch's Supply hopes to continue to beat their fundraising goals each year to raise money for St. Jude and their mission.
