FAQs
Owner’s manuals can be found on our Owner’s Manuals page or through your local dealer.
Register your product on our Warranty & Registration page. You will need your unit’s serial number, model number, and installation date. Locate your product’s serial number on the nameplate, metal tag, or sticker that should be on your unit. If you don’t have this information or your sales invoice on hand, your local dealer can provide it to you.
Not sure if your product is already registered? Verify your registration or look up an existing warranty. For more assistance, call 855-260-2975.
Yes. System maintenance is a requirement for the Base Limited and Registered Limited Warranties. We recommend maintenance twice a year with a local dealer. Locate a dealer to schedule your annual maintenance.
Base Limited and Registered Limited Warranties are attached to a specific serial number and do not “travel” with the homeowner. If you sell your home, you cannot transfer your warranty to your new residence.
Transferring your Registered Limited Warranty to the new homeowner maintains the original Registered Limited Warranty period. This means the new homeowner gets the benefit of the remaining term of the unit’s original limited warranty. Transferring your limited warranty must happen within 90 days of the new homeowner’s purchase.
Transferring a Registered Limited Warranty costs a one-time fee of $99. You can only pay the fee by credit card. Base Limited Warranties stay with the product, so they don’t need to be transferred between homeowners and a fee is not required. Optional Extended Warranties are transferred via outside parties and are not subject to the transfer fee.
