Trane Comfortlink II Control Wins Platinum Award for Design Excellence

TYLER, Texas, May 17, 2012 – The Trane ComfortLink TM II Control has been recognized by Design Journal with top honors in its annual Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) competition. The Trane ComfortLink II Control was named a Platinum ADEX award winner in the “Product Design” category. The annual ADEX Awards are dedicated to recognizing the best in form, function and aesthetics of appliances, furniture and fixtures marketed to the design trade. ADEX is the largest awards program in the design industry.
Each year, submissions are carefully examined and judged by an independent panel of professionals representing a cross section of the design industry from appliance and cabinetry designers to home furnishing and software designers, and more.

Design Journal noted the Trane ComfortLink II Control’s 7-inch interactive, high-definition color touch screen, which serves as a central point for busy homeowners to control their home’s “smart” system and security, among the many features and benefits to make it one of the top designed products of the year.
