Registering a New Product:
Yes, if you encounter any issues with the online registration process, you can reach out to the HVAC Warranty Specialists at 1-855-260-2975 or send an email to product.registration@concentrix.com for assistance.
Sure! Many dealers often register products for their customers after installation. After registration, they should provide you with a printed warranty certificate. It's important to confirm with your dealer about the registration requirements, especially since the Registered Limited Warranty is only applicable to products registered within 60 days of installation.
If you don't register your product, it will automatically be covered under the Base Limited Warranty. This type of warranty covers the cost of part replacement if the part fails due to a manufacturer's defect. The Base Limited Warranty usually lasts for five years, but it varies depending on the product.
The main difference is the duration of the warranty. Base Limited Warranty typically covers part replacement costs for five years, while Registered Limited Warranty covers part replacement costs for 10 years. Both warranties only cover parts that fail due to a manufacturer's defect and are included at no cost to you. To receive the Registered Limited Warranty, you must register your product within 60 days of installation. If you register your product after 60 days, it will automatically be covered under the Base Limited Warranty.
To ensure that your product has the Registered Limited Warranty, make sure to register your product within 60 days of installation, either by yourself or through your dealer.
The serial number can be found on the product or on your invoice. If you need assistance, you can contact the Warranty Specialists at 1-855-260-2975 or email product.registration@concentrix.com.
Check that you've entered your serial number correctly. If you're trying to register a new ductless system, enter the serial number followed by a "-" and the model number (e.g. 5001234T-MSZ-GE25VA-E1).
Yes, products such as accessories and thermostats can be registered using their model number. Our online system will prompt you for the necessary information to register these types of products without serial numbers.
To register your warranty, you'll need to register each component of your HVAC system individually. The first step in our online registration system allows you to add multiple products. Your invoice will provide a list of all your new system components and the serial numbers you need. If you need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to the Warranty Specialists at 1-855-260-2975 or email product.registration@concentrix.com.
First, you or your dealer need to register your product for free on the Trane site, enrolling it in either the Base Limited Warranty or Registered Limited Warranty depending on the time of installation. Afterward, you can contact your local dealer to purchase an Optional Extended Warranty for additional coverage.
No, you'll need to complete the registration process in one session. To make the process easier and quicker, ensure that you have all the necessary information ready, including your name, home and unit installation address, phone number, dealer's name, product serial number(s), and the date of installation.
Warranty Search:
Yes, if you experience any difficulties with the online system, you can contact the Warranty Specialists at 1-855-260-2975 or send an email to product.registration@concentrix.com for help.
No, you don't! When you search for one product, your final warranty report will also include any other products that were registered at the same time. You'll need to initiate a separate search for products that weren't registered simultaneously.
We ask for your last name and unit serial number to protect your privacy. If you prefer not to enter your last name, you can still search for a specific unit's limited warranty by entering only the serial number. However, to receive the full warranty certificate, you'll need to enter your last name.
This varies depending on the product. To check your specific coverage, go to the Warranty Lookup page and enter your unit serial number. If you need assistance, contact the Warranty Specialists at 1-855-260-2975 or email product.registration@concentrix.com to learn about your specific warranty.
Your full limited warranty certificate includes your name, address, phone number, and dealer information. If your dealer registered your product, they should have given you a printout of your warranty certificate. If you registered your product or lost the certificate, follow these steps to download a copy:
- Go to the Warranty Lookup page
- Enter your last name* and the serial number associated with your product
- Click "search" to access your certificate
*Your last name is required, along with your serial number, to protect your privacy. If you enter only the product serial number, you'll only see warranty information for that specific product. To see the certificate, which includes your name, address, and other personal information, you'll need to enter your last name.
Try entering a different serial number from another registered product. If you're still experiencing issues, contact the Warranty Specialists at 1-855-260-2975 or email product.registration@concentrix.com for assistance.
Yes, by providing your product serial number and last name, you'll be able to access your full warranty policy.
Parts that break for reasons other than a manufacturer defect are not covered under any warranty. Labor costs are not covered under either the Base Limited Warranty or the Registered Limited Warranty, but they are covered under selected Optional Extended Warranty plans.
