Why Choose Thermafit Air-Source Modular Multi-pipe Units

Simultaneous heating & cooling

Reduce or eliminate the need for a separate boiler and chiller system to fulfill simultaneous heating and cooling needs with this all-electric, all-in-one solution.

Thermafit air-source modular multi-pipe units have a unique design that combines chiller, heat pump and heat recovery innovation. Satisfy the entire building's heating and cooling needs by independently operating the mode of each module in the bank, even if the loads are unbalanced.

8.2x more efficient

Thermafit air-source modular multi-pipe unit, model MAS delivers reliable electric heating, with up to 8.2 times greater efficiency than other forms of electric heating for maximum savings.

Thermafit modular design improves part-load performance, allowing 5-17% chiller bank turndown. It also supports variable flow pumping, improving overall system efficiency.

High-performing, extremely reliable

Lab-verified and backed by Trane's world-class system design and support, Thermafit air-source modular multi-pipe units provide reliable heating in outdoor ambient temperatures down to 0°F (-17°C). Advanced defrost algorithm stages modules to reduce temperature fluctuations for improved heating performance.

Vapor injection allows greater lift and hot water temperatures up to 140°F (60°C).

Chiller-Heater Systems

Electrification of heat requires reimagining chillers and thinking differently about applying them to HVAC systems. Trane understands the broad system-wide aspects that are necessary to heat your building, starting with your chiller.
