We’ll handle it all
HVAC systems are complex. Regulations regarding emissions and proper refrigerant handling and leak reporting can be confusing. It is easy to make costly mistakes. Why not leave it all to Trane? We offer service agreements for any type of HVAC system. You have the flexibility to choose actions and set schedules to customize a service agreement that is uniquely in line with your needs, priorities and budget. Plus, our technicians are factory trained with support from a network of Trane experts. You’ll receive quality service every time, in every building.
We pay attention to the details
HVAC is Trane’s area of expertise. We know what attention the equipment needs, and when it needs it to stay reliable and energy efficient. Our service agreements typically wrap in a full system inspection, refrigerant management (including disposal and documentation) and all scheduled maintenance. If you’d like, our technicians can also assess the age and condition of the installed equipment and help you make plans for asset replacement and emergency back-up HVAC and power.
Refrigerant managment compliance is standard
Because we are dedicated to sustainability (link to 2030 sustainability goals), all Trane Service Agreements include refrigerant recording and reporting. Our Refrigerant Management System is used by Trane service technicians to record all the detail allowing quick report generation to meet various refrigerant reporting regulations.
Using smart technology and data helps to avert trouble
We’re using technology, including ultrasonic, electromagnetic induction, vibration analysis and infrared thermography to anticipate failures in real time.

We’ll assess energy use and fix the weak links
Our energy assessment tools use data collected from your building to create graphic depictions of how and when energy is being consumed. It’s the first step in reducing the energy intensity of your building.

We’ll even include the building automation system (BAS)
With us, HVAC Service can include the BAS. We can fine-tune, recalibrate and upgrade the building automation system and sensors, including upgrading software and cyber security.
It all begins with our foundational Service Agreements
The service agreement we design for you is generally based around the framework of two basic levels of service.
Scheduled Service puts regular maintenance on a planned schedule and budget. Most of the time, a planned approach costs less than purchasing ad-hoc services or paying for repairs on the fly. It also makes sure that important maintenance doesn’t get skipped or delayed.
Select Service provides the same standard maintenance as Scheduled Service. Then it goes a step further by providing parts and labor coverage for specified critical equipment. We’ll collaborate with you to determine which components or systems to include.

But as anyone in the industry knows, R-22 was phased out in the U.S. beginning in 2010 because it is ozone depleting.
