Engineered for Excellence
Trane is developing next-generation air-cooled chillers designed to meet higher capacity and ambient temperature demands of modern data centers.
Features & Benefits
Maximize Cooling Capacity with a Minimal Footprint
New 850 ton, 3MW chiller innovation to maximize cooling capacity per square foot of unit footprint, often allowing for a reduction in the number of chillers needed onsite, enabling lower installation costs.
Higher Ambient Operations
Operating multiple air-cooled chillers close to each other can cause some rejected heat to recirculate into the chiller’s condenser coils, raising the ambient temperature. Trane’s air-cooled chillers are designed to stay online and provide cooling during these short excursions to higher temperatures.
Higher Efficiency and Serviceability
Trane's innovative chillers feature the Symbio® 800 unit controller with AdaptiView™ interface for secure, enhanced connectivity and serviceability, supported by local service experts and smart service options for proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Minimize the Impact of Sound Transmission
Replacing multiple chillers with a single larger capacity chiller can reduce sound transmission to the local environment, helping minimize the impact in sound sensitive locations.
Trane is excited to announce the development of several Air-Cooled Chiller innovations designed to meet the evolving needs of the data center industry.
