CenTraVac® Water-Cooled Centrifugal Chiller
Efficient, sustainable and cost-effective thermal management.
Trane CenTraVac chillers deliver high-performance, energy-efficient thermal management for a variety of application challenges. Their advanced features help reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Trane CenTraVac chillers feature a time-tested and proven low-pressure design utilizing environmentally friendly refrigerants R-514A and R-1233zd. They offer the benefits of low pressure with continued product enhancements in a leak-tight design. Available in a wide range of cooling capacities, CenTraVac chillers provide from 200 to 4,000+ tons of cooling with 60 Hz and 50 Hz power options.
More efficiency with energy-saving options
CenTraVac chillers offer energy-saving options like integrated full or partial heat recovery, heat pump capabilities, thermal storage down to 18°F (-7.8°C) and integrated free cooling. These options are good for the environment and can often pay for themselves through reduced water consumption, lower heating and ancillary power consumption and decreased operating costs.
Quiet operation for sound-sensitive applications
The CenTraVac compressor has only one moving part supported by just two bearings, providing reliability through simplicity of design. The low-speed direct-drive design delivers highly reliable and efficient operation, while also reducing sound and vibration levels.
