    As a matter of fact, Trane has integrated free cooling directly into our chillers for over 30 years. It only makes sense to tap free colder outdoor air to cool the environment inside your building. When you can avoid running the compressor keeping people comfortable is more sustainable, and energy and operating costs are lower. Trane has free cooling chillers covered.

Series R® Helical Rotary Screw Models RTWD and RTHD
  • RTWD chiller heat pumps feature expanded heating capabilities of up to 165° F (74° C) for boiler replacements in a wider range of applications
  • RTHD can be configured to produce leaving evaporator solution temperatures as low as 5° F (-15° C) for industrial process cooling applications
  • Symbio 800 serves as a launch point to connect to an array of Trane systems and services
  • Tracer® SC+ building automation system features pre-engineered Chiller Plant Control, enhancing the rotation, staging and sequencing of multiple units to meet dynamic building loads.
  • Robust helical rotary compressor design has fewer moving parts with premium bearings for superior alignment tolerance and overall reliability.
